The BLUEFOX Double Ended Lathe Alignment Test Bar is a precision-ground alignment mandrel designed for accurately checking and correcting tailstock alignment, spindle accuracy, and machine geometry on metalworking lathes. Manufactured from EN8D alloy steel, the test bar is induction hardened and precision ground to deliver outstanding accuracy and long service life.
Featuring Morse Taper 2 (MT2) on one end and Morse Taper 3 (MT3) on the other, this versatile alignment mandrel is suitable for a wide range of lathes and machine tools. With an overall length of 450mm and a 300mm parallel ground section, it provides an excellent reference for precision alignment between centres or directly in Morse taper spindles.
Ground to within 5 microns with a maximum run-out of approximately 0.0002", this test bar is ideal for professional machinists, toolmakers, maintenance engineers, educational workshops, and serious hobby users.
