The BLUEFOX MT2 Lathe Alignment Test Bar is a precision inspection tool designed for checking and correcting lathe tailstock alignment. Manufactured from premium EN31 alloy steel, the bar is hardened, precision ground, and finished to an accuracy of 0.0002" maximum run-out, making it ideal for workshop, toolroom, and precision engineering applications.
If your lathe produces a slight taper when turning long workpieces, incorrect tailstock alignment is often the cause. This test bar allows quick and accurate alignment checks between the headstock and tailstock, helping restore turning accuracy and improve machining results.
One end features a 2 Morse Taper (MT2) shank, while the opposite end is M10 tapped, providing versatility for setup and inspection tasks.
