The Bluefox Tools MT2 Lathe Tailstock Tap & Die Holder Set is a professional 8-piece sliding floating type threading and tapping kit designed for accurate thread cutting on lathes equipped with a Morse Taper 2 (MT2) tailstock. The floating design automatically maintains alignment between the tap or die and the workpiece, helping produce straighter threads while reducing the risk of tap breakage and thread damage.

The kit includes an MT2 Morse taper arbor, two precision tap chucks, a die holder, knurled sleeve holder, and a threaded stop handle. The sliding holder travels smoothly on the MT2 arbor, allowing the tap or die to self-feed while remaining perfectly aligned with the workpiece.

When the operator releases the holder, it rotates freely with the spindle. For larger threads that cannot be guided by hand, the included threaded stop handle bears against the lathe carriage to prevent rotation and ensure controlled thread cutting.

Designed for inch-size taps and dies, this complete threading kit is ideal for machine shops, tool rooms, maintenance workshops, and precision engineering applications.
