xThe MT2 Tailstock Taper Turning Attachment is a precision-engineered lathe accessory designed to deliver smooth, accurate, and repeatable taper turning on machines fitted with a Morse Taper 2 (MT2) tailstock. Suitable for both metalworking and woodworking lathes, this attachment enhances machining accuracy while maintaining excellent stability during operation.
Supplied with both a revolving center and a dead center, it provides flexibility for different machining requirements. The revolving center minimizes friction for smoother rotation and improved surface finish, while the dead center offers rigid support for heavier or interrupted cutting operations.
A precision fine-adjustment mechanism provides 0.75 mm movement per handle rotation, allowing controlled and repeatable taper cuts. This ensures consistent results when machining shafts, rods, spindles, bushes, and custom taper components.
Manufactured from heavy-duty hardened steel, the attachment delivers high strength, excellent wear resistance, and long service life. Its rigid construction minimizes vibration, improves taper consistency, and enhances surface finish, making it ideal for professional workshops, toolrooms, and home machinists.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
